Abstract
Lifetimes in the neutron-rich nuclei Mo-104, Ru-110, and Ba-144 were measur ed using the differential recoil distance method. The experiment was perfor med with a Cf-252 fission source inside the New Yale Plunger Device. gamma rays were detected by the SPEctrometer for Experiments with Doppler shirts at Yale (SPEEDY) while fission fragments with the appropriate kinematics we re detected by an array of photocells.
