Va. Miransky et al., Color superconductivity and nondecoupling phenomena in (2+1)-dimensional QCD - art. no. 025005, PHYS REV D, 6402(2), 2001, pp. 5005
The possibility of generating a color superconducting state in (2 + 1)-dime
nsional QCD is analyzed. The gap equation in the leading, hard-dense loop i
mproved, one-gluon exchange approximation is derived and solved. The magnit
ude of the order parameter is proportional to a power of the coupling const
ant. For an asymptoti cally large chemical potential, a qualitatively new [
with respect to the (3 + 1)-dimensional case] phenomenon of nondecoupling o
f the fermion pairing dynamics from the infrared one is revealed and discus
sed.
