Abstract
We make use of a generalized tanh method with symbolic computation to find four kinds of soliton solutions for a new complex coupled MKdV equation. Th e corresponding soliton solutions for the complex coupled KdV system are ob tained by Miura transformation. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
