Abstract
For a number of polymer-solvent systems, the solvation numbers of macromole cular units were derived From data on the swelling of network polymers. A v ariation in the ratio between the bound and free solvents in polymer gels a s a function of the network density of polymer and the thermodynamic qualit y of solvent was analyzed.
