Abstract
Solutions to thermodynamically consistent approximate equations of the theo ry of liquids are used to construct phase equilibrium lines (binodals) and the lines of absolute stability of homogeneous phases (spinodals). The liqu id-vapor transition region for a Lennard-Jones system is considered.
