Perovskite-like manganites La1-xSrxMnO3 (x = 0, 0.3, 1) and chromites La1-x
SrxCrO3 (x = 0, 0.2) were synthesized by the cryochemical method. The tempe
rature intervals of predominant occurrence of various oxygen exchange react
ions at the complex oxide-gas phase interface were determined by the dynami
c-thermal isotope exchange method. The influence of the composition of mang
anites and chromites on their catalytic activity in oxygen isotope exchange
reactions and the oxidation of carbon monoxide and methane is discussed.
