The experimental data on critical phenomena in water-salt systems are gener
alized. In these systems, water plays the role of the more volatile compone
nt, and salt solid phases are stable to supercritical temperatures. The cla
ssification of the main types of complete phase diagrams, which describe al
l phase states of a substance in wide temperature and pressure ranges, is p
resented. Apart from an analysis of the experimental data, some theoretical
models that are: used to describe high-temperature aqueous solutions of el
ectrolytes are considered.
