Abstract
Endothermic effects (at temperatures above 273 K) were measured in a lightl y crosslinked polyacrylic H-ionite-water system by DTA. These effects were attributed to the formation of unstable polyhydrates of clathrate type in t he ionite. It was shown that the most stable polyhydrate decomposes at 274. 5 K.
