Abstract
The preparation of 4-substituted-1,5-dihydro-2H-pyrrol-2-ones is described. Those compounds can constitute precursors for radiolabeled 3-substituted-g amma -amino acids, whose "cold" analogues show a good and specific affinity for the GABA(B) receptor.
