The design and synthesis of a new class of chiral quinoline-phosphine ligan ds has been achieved. Their efficiency as asymmetric ligands in enantiosele ctive palladium-calalyzed allylic substitution reactions and in the asymmet ric copper-catalyzed addition of dielhylzine to enones was also investigaat ed.
