Abstract
General aspects of electropolishing of stainless steel have been reviewed. Some suitable both parameters have been enumerated. The possible mechanisms for electropolishing of stainless steel have been briefly outlined. Variou s factors that affect the polishing of stainless steel have been cited. The processes of micro and macro smoothing have been discussed.
