Abstract
Genomic-scale gene expression profiling can reveal cellular physiology with unprecedented richness. This technology is being used to define the gene e xpression targets of individual regulatory proteins and signaling pathways. Comprehensive databases of gene expression measurements can be used to und erstand the pathological mechanisms underlying disease processes.
