In order to access relationships between the chemical structure of pap
averine and 28 isoquinolic analogues and their enzymatic activity towa
rd 3 types of cyclic phosphodiesterases (cAMP-PDE, cGMP-PDE, calmoduli
n-PDE), we used mathematical methods of multidimensional data reductio
n. Correspondence factorial analysis with simple graphical representat
ion allowed us to define the relative specificity of the 29 molecules
for the 3 enzymatic targets. Following these results, it is possible t
o consider a pharmacomodulation of the structures studied.
