Most general surgeons will face at sometime in their career an 'incidentalo ma' of the adrenal gland. How should a surgeon approach an incidentaloma fo und during routine investigation for other unrelated disease processes? Thi s paper discusses the investigation and management of adrenal incidentaloma s and includes guidelines for the nonspecialist.
