Abstract
Soluble PEG-supported telluride 2 was synthesized and found to be an effect ive catalyst for the catalytic Wittig-type reaction to give a variety of al pha,beta -unsaturated esters in high yields with excellent E-stereoselectiv ity in the presence of sodium bisulfite as well as triphenyl phosphite.
