Abstract
The siliceous MCM-48 molecular sieve, a member of the M41s family, is prepa red for the first time in the presence of fluoride ions, and the hydrotherm al stability of fluorinated MCM-48 framework is found to be remarkably impr oved as compared with those synthesized in other media.
