The excited states of Sr-88 have been produced in the reaction O-16(Se-82,4
p6n) and studied using in-beam gamma spectroscopy techniques. Two high-spin
level structures have been observed and established up to 8.5 MeV and 7.9
MeV excitation energy, respectively. Based on the measurements of the direc
tional correlations of gamma -rays de-exciting oriented states and anisotro
pic factors of gamma -rays, spin values of the excited states have been ass
igned up to the highest levels observed.
