Abstract
The preparation of an HPLC column with a non-covalent immobilized artificia l membrane, by dynamic coating of a RP-18 surface with phosphatidylcholine, is described. Passive transport of unconjugated bile acids has been correl ated with log k(w) values resulting from interaction with this biomembrane- like surface.
