Abstract
A mesh regularization technique is developed in a numerical simulation of a n austenitic-martensitic phase transition in which the mesh transformation method is applied to compute the martensitic transformation, the needle-lik e microstructures near the austenite-finely twinned martensite interface an d the propagation of the austenite-finely twinned martensite interface. The numerical examples are given to show that the mesh transformation method e quipped with the mesh regularization technique well simulates the developme nt of twinned martensitic, micro structures and the propagation of the aust enite-finely twinned martensite interface.
