Abstract
This article presents the numerical simulation with finite element method o f the transient regime of an asynchronous generator with amagnetic spherica l solid rotor. During this operation the rotor kinetic energy is transferre d through the ideal star-connected rectifier to a load-inductance in order to create a high magnetic field pulse. The inter est of tills device is its lower cost of capacitor battery for self-oscillations of the asynchronous generator compared to the one necessary for direct transfer of its energy t o the loud-inductance.
