Abstract
Reported is synthesis of cyanines 3 (lambda (max) = 1033 nm in MeOH) and 4 (lambda (max) = 1060 nm in MeOH) substituted with an isothiocyanato functio n, and a succinimidoxycarbonyl-functionalized cyanine 10 (lambda (max) = 83 7 nm in MeOH) for labeling of biomolecules at amino groups.
