Abstract
The syntheses of a series of zirconium Schiff-base complexes are reported. These complexes are synthesized by the reaction of zirconium (IV) isopropox ide with the unusual kind of Schiff-base in 1:1 molar ratio, and they are c haracterized by EA, IR and MS. When activated by excess methylaluminoxane ( MAO), all complexes are active for the polymerization of ethylene. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
