Abstract
New bis(beta-diketonato)Cr(III) and Ni(II) complexes with a chelating nitronyl nitroxide radical were synthesized and characterized, The int ensification and/or large Stokes shift of the spin-forbidden component s and the charge transfer transitions revealed by the resonance Raman spectra in the visible region were found, which result from the modera te exchange coupling.
