Abstract
Condensation of [Ni(cod)(2)] with a trinuclear rhenium chloro sulfide cluster complex prepared from [Re3S7Cl6]Cl and triethylphosphine forms a mixed metal cluster complex [Re3NiS4Cl6(PEt3)(4)]. The cluster comp lex has 17 metal cluster electrons and is paramagnetic. The four metal atoms form a cubane structure with face-capping sulfur atoms.
