N. Okazaki et al., ENHANCING AND INHIBITING EFFECTS OF SO2 ON SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION OF NOX BY ETHENE OVER COPPER-LOADED ALUMINA CATALYSTS, Chemistry Letters, (7), 1997, pp. 635-636
In both the selective catalytic reduction of NO by ethene and the simi
lar reaction system except use NO2 instead of NO, almost the same NOx
conversions to N-2 were obtained over Cu/Al2O3. In the presence of SO2
in the feeds, however, the two NOx reductions gave different results;
the reduction of NO2 was enhanced, while that of NO was inhibited.
