Raman spectra of two liquid crystal compounds with differently substituted
-CN groups were measured in isotropic phase and rotational autocorrelation
functions were calculated in picosecond range both from deformation of phen
yl ring and -CN stretching vibrations. The comparison of presented results
shows the complicated nature of motions around long axes and the influence
