Abstract
Fracture of the atlas vertebra is rare in children. We report two paediatri c cases of bifocal pedicular fracture of the posterior arch of C1. Evaluati on was performed by nonenhanced computed tomography scan, which successivel y confirmed both diagnosis and healing. In both cases, nonoperative managem ent was successful.
