Abstract
ureapeptoid peptidomimetics can be composed from Boc-protected N-subst ituted ethylenediamines. The best approach is to synthesize these from chloroacetonitrile followed by conversion to the corresponding crysta lline p-nitrophenyl carbamates in order to prepare the ureapeptoids.
