We report a case of life-threatening nasal sinus zygomycosis that developed
during remission induction therapy for a relapsed acute lymphoblastic leuk
aemia. The patient was successfully treated with liposomal amphotericin B a
nd granulocyte-colony stimulating factor followed hy surgical reconstructio
n of the resultant cutaneous defect.
