Abstract
The kinetics of the transformation between phases I, II and III of solid cy clohexanol was studied by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Special attention was paid to the dependence of the time evolution on the thermal h istory of the sample. We observed drastic change of the kinetics after 48 h ours of aging in the glassy state. The time evolution of the spectra was de scribed by a power low rather than an exponential one.
