The back and front photopyroelectric configurations were combined in o
rder to obtain room temperature Values of the thermal parameters of so
me margarines present on the Romanian market. The back configuration (
with thermally thick sample and sensor) allows the direct and absolute
measurement of the thermal diffusivity. The thermal effusivity was ob
tained in the front configuration (with thermally thin and optically o
paque sensor and thermally thick sample).
