Abstract
After decades of inactivity, new coal-fired powerplants are back on the dra wing boards in North America. To check out the technology advances that hav e been made in their absence, designers may want to look to Japan, where su percritical, super-efficient, and super-clean coal-fired plants like Harama chi have set the standard.
