Abstract
An aqueous solution of phosphoric acid was used as a selective station ary liquid phase for the separation of volatile fatty acids under cond itions of steam chromatography. Organic acids C-2-C-8 are eluted from the column as symmetric peaks, and the order of their elution is rever se to that observed commonly on other phases.
