Abstract
A new vic-dioxime, 12,13-bis(hydroxyimino)-11,14-diazatetracosane (H2L), ha s been prepared from decylamine and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime. Monomeric Ni(II ) [(E,E) and (E,Z)], Co(II) and Pd(II) complexes are obtained with a metal- ligand ratio of 1:2. A dimetric complex with UO2 and polymeric Cu(II), Co(I I), Pd(II), and (E,Z)-Ni(II) complexes were prepared. All monomeric complex es are very soluble in common organic solvents, but the dimeric uranyl comp lex and polymeric complexes are not soluble. H-1 and C-13 NMR, IR, MS, and UV-vis data are presented.
