Abstract
The quon gas obeying the minimally deformed commutator, aa(dagger) - q a(dagger)a = 1, proposed earlier for interpolating between the boson g as and the fermion gas is shown to make the Bose-Einstein condensation in two dimensions in the bosonic sector (0 < q < 1). (C) 1997 Elsevie r Science B.V.
