Abstract
The link between the effect of an electric field in a ID medium and th e curvature-velocity relation is studied theoretically by means of a t wo-variable reaction-diffusion system and numerically in the framework of a two-variable Oregonator model. Theoretical results predict the e xistence of a relationship between critical electric field (E-cr) and critical curvature (K-cr), which is highlighted by means of the so-cal led V-shaped patterns.
