Abstract
Hypotensive patients with pelvic ring injuries present a diagnostic an d therapeutic challenge. This article reviews pelvic anatomy, the clas sification of pelvic injuries, and how to rapidly identify patients' u nstable pelvic injuries. Current recommendations for the evaluation an d treatment of these patients are reviewed.
