Abstract
Pelvic ring disruptions are challenging management problems for the or thopedic surgeon. Early hemorrhage, permanent nerve injury, and late p ain caused by residual pelvic deformity are some of the many complicat ing factors. A variety of treatment alternatives are available to stab ilize the disrupted pelvic ring. Each technique has inherent advantage s and problems.
