Abstract
Controversy exists regarding the management of pelvic fractures with c oncomitant injuries to the lower urologic tract. This can be seen in b oth the urologic and orthopedic literature as it pertains to the ideal form of treatment for either problem and the timing of surgical inter vention, if it is needed. This article reviews the anatomy, mechanism of injury, diagnostic approach, and treatment.
