Abstract
Ten 2-aryl or heteroaryl-3-nitrosoimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives were s ynthesised as potential antiretroviral agents. The new compounds were chara cterized by elemental analysis, H-1 NMR, and by crystallography for (14). T he compounds were devoid of any activity against HIV-1 or HIV-2.
