Aa. Nazarov et Yd. Odyshev, Investigation of communications networks with dynamic synchronous aloha protocol under heavy load conditions, AUTOM C C S, 35(1), 2001, pp. 64-70
An unstable communications network with an infinite number of stations and
"synchronous aloha" random multiple access protocol is considered. To stabi
lize the network, a dynamic modification of the access protocol is applied.
It is proved that there exists a stationary mode for the communications ne
twork controlled by the synchronous dynamic aloha protocol. An asymptotic d
istribution of the probabilistic message delivery time and of the number of
arrivals in a repeat call source is found.
