Abstract
The steady state kinetic study and some enzymic characterization of a selen ium-containing scFv catalytic antibody (Se-scFv2F3) was carried out. A nove l reaction formula of this abzyme-catalyzed reaction was proposed and a rat e equation was gotten according to the formula. The constants in the equati on were compared with Dalziel's parameters and the exact meanings of these constants were analyzed. The gotten kinetics parameters from the kinetics s tudy of Se-scFv2F3 were analyzed and compared with that of native glutathio ne peroxidase. (C) 2001 Academic Press.
