Abstract
The genus Eremochloa Buse (Gramineae) is revised. Eleven species (2 new) an d two varieties are recognized. For one species a new name was necessary. T he genus appears to be most similar to Rhytachne Desv. of the Andropogoneae -Rottboelliinae.
