Abstract
"In vitro " studies were carried out for the selection of Lactobacillus str ains with probiotics characteristics. Two strains of Lactobacillus were eva luated for the growth specific rate, generation time, acids, bile and antim icrobial resistances. "In vitro " tests indicated that the strains presente d a potential for being used as probiotics.
