Abstract
Short-term in vitro assays for anti-tumor promoters were carried out for se veral anthraquinones and bianthraquinones, which were isolated from Cassia siamea and derived from cascaroside, A. Anthraquinone monomers showed highe r anti-tumor promoting activity than that of bianthraquinones. (C) 2001 Els evier Science Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
