Abstract
Two cases of acute submucosal esophageal hemorrhage are reported. This condition is uncommon and presents an urgent diagnostic dilemma. Its presentation, diagnosis, and management are reviewed. The underlying p athology and causative factors are researched and clarified. Conservat ive management is safe and effective.
