Jl. Liu et al., Electrical conductivity of granite, basalt and pyroxene peridotite under high temperature-high pressure conditions, CH J GEO-CH, 44(4), 2001, pp. 528-533
The conductivity of granite, basalt and pyroxene peridotite is measured und
er high temperature (563-1173K) and high pressure (1.0-2.5GPa) conditions.
The results indicate that the conductivity increases with increasing temper
ature, and in the range of 563-1173K, the variation reaches 10(5). The vari
ation may be resulted from the partly melting process of the rock.
