Lw. Wang et al., Crystallization and preliminary X-ray crystallographic analysis of yeast prion protein Ure2p with shortened N-terminal, CHIN SCI B, 46(12), 2001, pp. 1012-1014
An orthorhombic crystal form of a recombinant yeast prion protein with shor
tened N-terminaI, 90Ure2p, has been obtained. Crystals were grown by the va
pordiffusion technique against a mother liquor containing imidazole. Crysta
ls belong to the primitive orthorhombic lattice with the cell parameters a
= 54.5 Angstrom, b = 74.7 Angstrom, c = 131.0 Angstrom. The crystals diffra
ct to beyond 3.0 Angstrom resolution at a synchrotron beamline.
