Abstract
The transcription factors Fast-1 and Mixer are important terminal component s of Smad2-mediated TGF-beta signal transduction. Recent studies demonstrat e that Fast-1 and Mixer play critical roles in the formation of endoderm an d dorsal mesoderm in zebrafish.
