Abstract
We describe a case of splenic abscess following lithotripsy of pancreatic s tones, for which emergency splenectomy eventually had to be performed. It i s important to be aware of this complication, because splenic abscess is st ill a life-threatening entity. Copyright (C) 2001 S. Karger AG, Basel.
